of course, that’s just personal preference!! either way, MAKE SURE your settings for screencapping capture every frame/you don’t have limit to every _ frames selected when you’re importing video, otherwise your gif will look choppyġ) in mplayer, go to file > open and select your fileĢ) go to whatever scene you want to gif and pause. also, importing video frames to layers can take up a ton of space on your scratch drive and when that happens, photoshop won’t even open. to me, screencapping is far easier than having to trim a 2 hour movie down to a 2 second scene with photoshop’s tiny scrub bar/another video editing program. There are two main methods of importing to photoshop: 1) import video frames to layers, which is when you open a video and trim it in photoshop, and 2) load files into stack, which is what you use when you’ve taken screencaps. if screen recording works for you then that’s great! screen recording - i wouldn’t recommend this as you often end up with duplicate frames and it’s not as hq, but that’s just my experience.youtube videos, etc - 4kvideodownloader!! again, make sure you’re using a vid that is at least 1080p.t*rrents - this is the main way to download films/tv shows!
